Summer Track & Field Season Info

The Logistics

When?

Outdoor track officially begins the first week of June.

Who?

Summer Track is available for athletes ages 7 to 18.

Where?

Practices are held at the Charlie Merrifield Track / Bulldog Memorial Stadium

Middle School & High School Information

Event group practices for middle school (grades 7-8) and high school (grades 9-12) athletes are as scheduled by event coaches and will be posted when available.

Grade School Information

Outdoor practices for grade school athletes (grades 1-6) are on Tuesday evenings each week beginning Tuesday, June 4th at 6:00 pm.

Meet Schedule

  • June 20-21: USATF Montana Championships (Bozeman, MT)
  • July 10-12 : USATF Region 11 Championships (Provo, Utah)
  • TBD: BTC Spring Classic (Bozeman, MT)
  • July 19-20: Big Sky State Games (Lockwood, MT)
  • TBD: USATF JO Nationals

Registration for the 2024 season is closed. View registration instructions here.

Season fees for the 2025 season are $40 and includes USATF State/Regional meet fees. Additionally, a USATF membership is required and costs $35 annually.
